
My name is Paula and I’m the owner, creator and driving force behind PÜR Wellbeing.
I was inspired to create PÜR Wellbeing after a decade of sub-optimal health and healing left me with a wealth of new knowledge and training that I instinctively knew I had to share with others.
I had to enlist the help of many different practitioners to facilitate my journey to optimum health. Whilst each one of them was wonderful, and experts in their fields, the process of going from practitioner to practitioner was at times difficult and time consuming.
Once I’d regained my health I became passionate about being the practitioner I wish I’d had access to when I was beginning my own journey to health and wellbeing.
My quest is to embody that for others, empowering them on their own journey to become the best versions of themselves, to live life to the full!
What is PÜR Wellbeing and what makes me different?
PÜR Wellbeing at it’s essence is holistic health and wellbeing. Whole-istic.
We are human, that makes us complex.
I don’t seek to treat an issue or problem you may be experiencing, it’s my role to assist you in discovering and accessing what you most need to regain your whole, healthy self.
I do this using a range of approaches, divided into three methodologies, which I call FLEX, FUEL and FLOW.
FLEX
I’m a fully certified Hatha and Somatic Yoga Teacher, and YMCA Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer with foundational training in trauma informed approaches. I’m passionate about movement and and sharing all of the benefits it brings to our physical, mental and emotional health. I enjoy working with groups in a class environment but also one to one, helping people on their personal health and fitness quests. I specialise in those new to movement practices and those with perceived barriers to movement and fitness, such as physical and mental health conditions, injuries and disabilities. FLOW
I am a certified YMCA Sports Massage Therapy Practitioner specialising in soft tissue dysfunction. In addition, I’m a certified ABNLP Associate NLP Practitioner and Life Coach with trainings in Meditation and Deep Relaxation Practices. I’ve also developed a wealth of evidence based knowledge around recovery and sleep and I’m always looking at the latest research and developments in these areas! Recovery is the much neglected aspect of health and wellbeing that is finally beginning to come to the fore. Whether it’s helping to ease tight muscles or a stressed mind, I love working with my clients on these therapeutic aspects of their wellness journeys. I relish working one to one with clients, but I also have use at home products to make some of these interventions both accessible and affordable for everyone.
